Rayos del Sol is a group made up of many smallholder farmers who grow and process coffee in small communities high in the Andean mountains in the Department of Cajamarca, Peru. Each community of farmers elects a committee which addresses the challenges of production unique to their circumstances. Rayos del Sol serves the committees and farmers by providing training, loans, market access and final processing of coffee. Significant premiums are paid to producers based on quality.

Quality varieties are grown at high elevation on family farms, processed in the washed method and dried on tented patios or terraces. This blend of our favorite community lots is a shining example of the delicious and unique coffee this region produces. It has great sweetness, a luxurious silky mouthfeel and wonderfully complementary notes of apricot, milk chocolate and shortbread. Please join us in enjoying Rayos del Sol!
